As long as the words are used correctly—i.e., they distinguish “now; so soon” (already) from “fully ready” (all ready)—we see nothing wrong with using both in the same chapter.

So, depending on which “already” or “all ready” I use, can I use both when writing in any given chapter? These two words have stumped me many times. I usually use “already,” but my proofreader changes it to “all right.” Now it’s just getting the two clear in my head.
